The unique SmartChlor® Technology self-regulates, slowly releasing over 3-4 weeks for a consistent Free Chlorine level that is Cyanuric Acid free. This Cartridge is translucent gray – you can see the SmartChlor® inside! When the System flips over, it’s time to replace it.Note: this is ONE replacement chlorine cartridge.It is recommended that you test your water regularly with the new @Ease test strips provided with your chlorine/silver kit. These are calibrated to detect the special combination of chlorine used by the system and takes into account the combined sanitizing effect of both chlorine and metallic silver. You must use the @ease test strips to get an accurate chlorine reading with both the floating and cartridge systems.The @Ease System combines the proven FROG mineral formula for killing bacteria with SmartChlor Technology to maintain a consistently low @ease chlorine level for weeks. Unlike normal chlorine that is used up when you get in, SmartChlor continues to maintain the same level which is up to 75% less than hot tubs using Dichlor (standard hot tub chlorine).
