Five Star PBW Tablets – 10g(1 Tablet Per 1 Gallon of Water) 40ct – Growler, Carboy, Keg Cleaner

Look, they work, they are exactly what they are advertised as, but the powder works way better for cold water. I usually fill up kegs with cold water and powder then pressure fill the dip tube and let sit over night. With the tabs, they don’t dissolve for a long time, so you have to either crush up 5 tabs, which is very hard because they’re super firm to stay together in the container, or you have to put the tabs in, fill with water, then perhaps hours later, come back and circulate what you are trying to clean, such as dip tube and tubing or lines. These being tabs just added time to my cleaning tasks either crushing or waiting for it to dissolve.
