PureFlow HEPA Cabin Air Filter PC99497HX | Fits 2019-2024 Subaru Forester, 2022-2025 WRX

I have never owned a vehicle with a cabin air filter before. One of the trucks at work went in for service and they asked if we wanted the cabin filter changed. I thought, ‘Hmm, I bet the subaru has one of those, wonder if that’s why the air smells like dirt and farts in there?’ Sure enough i look behind the glove box of the subaru and find the dirt/fart smell catcher. Note to my future self and others possibly, I’m not sure how your glove box comes loose, but on our subaru as soon as I released the top clips, the whole contents of my wifes hoarded glove box came spilling out all over the floor. I’ll empty it first next time. Installation of the actual filter took approximately 30 seconds, cleaning up the glove box spill took much longer. It’s only been a few days, but this filter performs much better than the 4 year old stock subaru paper filter that was caked in heavy dirt and aforementioned farts.
