I got this to upgrade my RV’s bus bar. I wanted to upgrade to a larger gauge main negative wire but was limited by the factory bus bar, which only allowed 12 gauge wire. This bar allows me to tie two bus bars together using the larger lug. With this, I was able to use this bus bar for the smaller factory 12 volt negative wires and use the larger lug to tie into my main inverter bus bar, which uses 4 gauge wires.My only issue with this bus bar is that the larger wire going to it keeps the lid on, which means you have to remove the larger wire every time you want to add another wire to it.4.5 stars, a great go-between bus bar, if they fixed the protective cover issue, this would be an easy 5 stars.
