AIRTEC Motorsport Ultimate Series Intercooler for Nissan R35 GT-R

Description Following an extensive two-year development process, AIRTEC Motorsport introduced its ultimate-spec “Gobstopper” large-capacity intercooler kit designed for highly modified Stage 4 and above Nissan R35 GT-R models that require the very highest level of cooling efficiency for fast road or track use. The kit was designed, developed and tested in the UK, with multiple end tank designs, boost pipe connectors and core types evaluated during development. The final design features 3-inch free-flowing inlet and outlet pipes feeding into custom end tanks and a huge 110mm deep bar-and-plate core capable of supporting up to 1,500bhp. The intercooler maximises use of the lower grille area and includes an angled air deflector to improve airflow. This results in a major increase in surface area and volume compared to standard, significantly reducing charge temperatures and improving performance for high-boost, heavily tuned GT-R applications. The comprehensive kit fits behind the original bumper (modification to plastic intercooler surround required) and includes a large boost pipe and hose connector package, AIRTEC foam air filters, and all fixtures, fittings and installation instructions.
