2020 GT500 – 18″ Wheel Swap Our CorteX Rear Vertical Links allow for the installation of most 18 inch and larger rear wheels for performance driving, track, or competitive racing. Eliminate Deflection The factory Ford S550 Mustang vertical links are made with soft rubber bushings which deflect substantially under load. Suspension deflection is undesirable as it prevents lateral and logitudinal forces from moving through the car, to the suspension, and ultimately to the tire to create grip. Deflection decreases available grip and can also induce wheel hop. This CorteX vertical link kit replaces the soft OE bushings with spherical bearings to completely eliminate deflection and improve suspension performance. As an added advantage, there is near zero impact to NVH, making this product perfect for street car and race car alike.
