It works great, punches the hole on the first try! It works better than I expected. I’ve always used a thumb tack or little nail, whatever I can find in the drawer. This little gadget works so much better. Be careful, it is sharp, my husband learned the hard way, haha. I had it on the fridge because it has a magnet on the bottom of it, and my husband took it off trying to figure out what it was and must have unlocked the center button, then he pushed the button down and stabbed his thumb. Kids and husbands, you can’t turn your back on them, lol. But don’t let anyone tell you it isn’t sharp because he will beg to differ. It does punch right thru the eggs without any hassle.
