If you have pets or kids or are just generally accident prone, but still want a light colored rug, this is the way to go. We had it less then a week before my son and his friend decided to walk across it with their muddy sneakers. Brown, thick, wet mud! We used a shop vac to suck up what was on the surface (as to not squash it further into the fibers) and the blotted our the rest with a damp paper towel. No stains left behind and no stains creeped up after it dried! Indoor outdoor rugs are the most forgiving when it comes to traffic, wear and stains!
