These planks aren’t just for planking salmon. I’ve made some of the juiciest ribs ever using these. In fact I only use them for ribs now. They’re cedar planks there’s not much you can say about a cedear plank. So here’s a great recipe to get some juicy mouth-watering ribs.Directions:Soak the plank in apple cider vinegar for 1 hourCut white membrane off back of ribsCoat back ribs with mustardSprinkle and pat Cedar Grilling Rib Rub over entire back ribsDry plank, cut garlic in half and rub top side of plankLightly coat topside of plank with olive oilLay rub coated back ribs meat side down on plankPrepare barbeque for indirect grilling (no heat under plank)Place plank on grill and close lidCook on low heat 230-250°F (110-120°C) for 3 to 4 hoursTurn ribs over after first hour and lightly spray with apple ciderSpray apple cider every half hour for flavour and to keep ribs moist20 minutes before serving, brush Cedar Grilling Glaze on back ribsTurn up the indirect heat a little to help caramelize the glaze on the back ribsWarm the extra Rib Glaze and serve on the side as a dipping sauce
